* The first workshop will be held in conjunction with the ACM SIGPLAN Symp. on
Principles of Programming Languages (POPL 2017).
* It aims to bring together researchers from programming languages, distributed
computing, declarative networking, and databases, to stimulate cross-fertilization
among these areas.
* The technical program consists of invited talks by Aws Albarghouthi, Alvin
Cheung, Adam Chlipala, Alin Deutsch, Kathleen Fisher, Rick Hull, Christoph
Koch, Frank Neven and Szymon Torunczyk.

and an ICDT invited lecture by Daniel Marx (Hungarian Academy of Sciences), the joint conference also includes tutorials and accompanying workshops on various aspects of data management.
