Two postdoctoral database research positions are available for 2 years, with the possibility of extension for a further 2 years. Two funded PhD positions are also available for 4 years.
The posts are on the FADAMS (Foundations of Factorised Data Management Systems) project sponsored by an ERC consolidator grant that started in June 2016. The project (http://www.cs.ox.ac.uk/projects/FDB/) aims to investigate systems and foundational aspects of scalable data management at the confluence of compression, distribution, and approximate processing of query and machine learning workloads. Interested applicants for the PhD positions should contact Dan Olteanu (firstname.lastname@example.org) in the first place.
